Dr. Chawla is the founder of Cardinal Aethetics and Weight Loss. She is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. She has training in general surgery, burns injuries, and internal medicine. She branched into aesthetics to be able to combine her skill sets to make others look their very best. She believes if you look good, you feel amazing. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family. She has three wonderful children who keep her busy.

Ilona was born and raised in Latvia by a teacher and a classically trainer musician. She has worked as an esthetician and a nurse in a medical spa setting as well as with skincare companies for over 15 years. In the Central Ohio area, she has enjoyed providing minimally invasive aesthetic services including Botox, Fillers, chemical peels, PRP and laser services since 2015.
“Having performed thousands of procedures and having touched many skin types, it is surprising to see each time the uniqueness of each individual skin type and features “ I believe true aesthetics are about bringing out those unique features, transitions of facial features to highlight the divine spark in each individual it is completely opposite from chasing perfection.”
Thanks to her experience as a easthetician she has come into contact with many skin types and faces.
Ilona loves traveling, and during her trips to South America, Central Europe, and Scandinavia, she made it her mission to gather information on women’s personal beauty rituals.
As a loving mom of two boys, her free time is limited, but when she can, she enjoys hiking, watching films, and—to everyone’s surprise—belly dancing.
She wants nothing more than to bring people joy to inspire them, and help them celebrate their uniqueness.

Chelsea is a wife and mom who is passionate about great skin care. Starting to learn about anti-aging products in her mid twenties really sparked her interest on how to improve skin and maintain younger looking skin. She loves working with people to find the perfect routine to achieve their desired results. She enjoys getting to know someone so she can learn about their lifestyle which helps determine the best steps to take and products to use to achieve, and maintain healthy beautiful skin from the inside out.
